Our almost 4 yr old is sweet as pie and gentle… a sensitive little princess. She hates doing anything “wrong” and enjoys sitting calmly at the table drawing or doing crafts.
Our 19 month old is pure chaos. Trying to climb the stairs when we look away for 0.5 seconds and jump off stuff. He has this sneaky grin that shows off adorable little dimples.
It keeps us on our toes as parents to have very different kids and I think it evens things out maybe??
7am, my 3 y/o holds my cheeks and asks me to open the gate so he can get something downstairs.
me: sure, what are you getting?
him: I will show you just open the gate for me
my husband: this is how demons make deals with humans
Try talking to someone without “oh yeah, when something similar happened to me…” or “that reminds me of [me story]” Or “I totally understand because I…” - It’s hard, but worth trying
