My partner & I can’t afford to do anything or go anywhere this year for Valentine’s Day, but that doesn’t mean I can’t still spoil him; I drew us a portrait (referencing Klimt’s The Kiss), I made him a lil playlist of songs that remind me of us, & for dinner tonight I’m gonna be re-making the first meal I ever cooked for him (after we started dating).
& it doesn’t have to be for Valentine’s, or even a romantic partner—making anything for any loved one is just so special in & of itself, no matter the occasion. Show your love while we’re all still here.🖤

the sweet and lacey kind like they made back in the day. it’s meditative and so very romantic. get little pearls and various kinds of glitter and paper flowers to decorate. write little handwritten notes for your dearly beloved. make an extra special valentine for your extra special someone.
