It's the 30th anniversary of the band's debut, "Diary." They are a jaw-droppingly excellent live band from way back and Jeremy Enigk's voice is on some other planet. Yes you are right, some early Foo Fighters are in this video (Dave basically recruited them to Foos).

If you are a BBQ fan you are going to eat your way through Austin. My favorite part of the whole experience outside of meeting random musicians throughout the week (my weird beer garden conversation with Perry Farrell comes to mind; also, Stubb's used to own a house with no address across the street from the venue that served as a Green Room/safe house for bands who are on their main stage; I wrote about that for Magnet too).
