The atmosphere in a local bookstore is so much better than a Barnes & Nobel. The one in my area has new books, gently used ones, a cafe, handmade items, and even a punch card for your purchases. My favorite part, if they don't have the book you're looking for, they'll order it for you for no added charge. The whole point is your local bookstore possibly has everything a Barnes & Nobel does.
