Stop walking into bookstores and asking for a particular title bc itโs a bestseller ๐ด Go walk outside to the used $3 rack and comb it like youโre looking for lice on an eight year olds greasy head. I mean, look at every title. Pick up the ones that truly speak ur name and leave the others for their fated owners. Once ur arms are full of slept on bangers for cheap$, u are allowed entry to the main event. Inside, peruse carefully but whimsically, let urself be pulled this way and that by a nice font and a bright cover and a tempting staff rec sticky note. If you are determined to find a particular book bc ur bff w good taste recd it or ur in a book club then u are allowed to hunt for it, but u must HUNT. u can only ask for help if u are in a horrible rush, or truly cannot find the title after giving it your best effort. Otherwise, listen to what the shelves are telling you๐
