it’s my fav grown up errand to run. like ok i can get whatever my heart desires as my ingredients for my lunches and dinners for the week and sweet treats and fruits for snacking. and maybe i’ll run into some ppl i know and do the mildly awkward small talk. but it’s nice to chitchat about easter breaks and dinner plans in the sainsbury’s aisles sometimes.

One of my most precious childhood memories is riding in the bottom of the shopping cart, eating a plain bagel from the bakery with a small sample of their freshly squeezed orange juice, available for the taking! And whenever I have friends visit me at my childhood home, Stew’s always is the first place on our sight-seeing agenda.

Beans, some cocoa, a couple of cardamom pods, a piece of cinnamon stick. Maybe some chili flakes. Dried sage? Whatever. Throw it in your coffee grinder (get a coffee grinder.) you’ll feel like youre on a little exotic vacation to a place where the coffee is good
