I did the same thing last summer and it was quite literally the best I’ve ever felt. Itching to get back on the saddle once the snow melts…

We're just animals dog. We gotta move them bones. Stupid the amount of shit that can be helped with a lil sunshine and lite workout.

this is so good… once I started trail riding, I fell so deeply into it that I overcooked my knees trying to hit inclines at pace. My body telling me to slow down but my brain saying wtf let’s go, the eternal struggle

i’ve been slowly getting into fitness over the past year and it was a real lightbulb moment for me when i started doing more intensive workouts (as opposed to only yoga/pilates) bc they are wildly more gratifying, physically and mentally. turns out the confidence and motivation you get from doing hard things is what makes u actually wanna continue working out. i’m now more active than ever and it feels great!!!

Had a breakup at the end of 2021 that dealing with, was pretty stressed out about it and started going to a powerlifting gym (shoutout Rx S&C) that had a strength and conditioning class with some weightlifting, kettlebells, etc. Got me tired as a dog, cleared my head and after a bit, the results helped my self esteem. I was also playing a lot of ultimate frisbee, and the amount of aerobic exercise made it easier to take up jogging.
I moved to NY last summer and after I got here, it really helped me during the transition to join a crossfit gym and jog on my off days. Had some back problems, the weather got crappy and I got out off the habit of exercise and my mental health really suffered. Have recently started running again and I can see a marked difference in my mood and stress level.

Can’t believe those annoying fitness influencers were right. All it took was working out 5 times a week and I feel sane again. It could literally be just a 45 min walk or 2 hour leg day at the gym but I actually feel so much better mentally and physically.

tomorrow PI.FYI launches to the public
this project is the result of thousands of hours spent coding everything from scratch after I got laid off six months ago
no thiel-bucks or weirdo outsider money, just a pure desire to make something fun and true to Perfectly Imperfect’s day one goal of helping people find new things from real human beings, not algorithms or AI
a pure labor of love that I’ve been quietly plotting for two years and it’s completely self-funded from my (rapidly) dwindling savings account
so thank you for coming along for this weird ride 🫶 let's see where it goes
