it’s my favourite book ever. i read it every summer and have a look at my favourite paragraphs from time and time and it never fails to get to me. it’s written in second person. it’s short, sharp and sweet. it’s really lyrical and beautifully investigates love, South London and the complexities of being Black.

Pretty sure a lot of people have ready this one but I started it 2 weeks ago after it being in my wishlist for over 2 years and omg i cannot believe a book like this exists. I have never underlined a book as much as I have with this one
