hate to say it but it's the OG for a reason. expensive but I think worth it for a really fully featured builder that also lets you mess with CSS easily, and has a lot of portfolio management features specifically which is why i went for it
i built mine with squarespace :)
i love the UI and how easy it is to see out a finished version that looks rly clean

squarespace often had deals for the first year being like 50% off tho! still might be $100+ ah
linked my portfolio site as an example, if it looks iffy on mobile thatās just me being rusty with CSS not the fault of the site. the building interface is really intuitive to use and has a lot of functions included in the free/lowest membership tier. I donāt pay for the tier to have the carrd(.)co taken out of my URL but that is an option. iāve found it simpler to use than square space especially if youāre really just trying to have essentially a resume web page and donāt need sales platform integration or anything
