I like costco's pesto, idk, it's pretty solid for premade pesto. if you have a toaster oven, slap it on some bread, and honestly that's tasty enough without any extra. if you have a pot and a stove, I always thought of pasta as an easy meal. Sometimes I'll make it with marinara and throw the pesto on top, the two sauces do something fun. of course, neither of those will give you much protein... eggs are consistent healthy protein. I have two fried eggs + a piece of pita bread a few times every week. okay, frying them isn't *great*, but it's fine, it's still relatively healthy compared to the other shit I eat. nutritional yeast can add some protein and flavor to a lot of things. and... yeah, depending on how lazy I am, I just stick storebought fish sticks or chicken fingers in the toaster oven. it's a bad idea, but if you're that lazy and you need protein, it's a valid guitly pleasure.

i always do some random variation of this: go to the grocery store and pick up: 1. a few different types of protein (i usually do chicken, shrimp, and fish (even eggs could work)) 2. vegetables you like (broccoli, green beans, peppers, etc) 3. some type of carb (i usually go for pasta or rice) cook these things up with some pre made marinade or have it heavily seasoned. portion to your liking and there you go - you can make up a ton of recipes from this formula and its decently healthy 😛, its saved me a ton of time in the kitchen and prevents flavor fatigue (for me at least)

It can be easy, cheap, and makes good leftovers. Sometimes I will just doctor up a jar-sauce and add fresh basil and parm and it is pretty good for the amount of effort. If I feel like I need more protein or veggies it is easy to add. I recently tried a recipe that has anchovies, green olives, garlic, capers, cherry tomatoes, and lots of olive oil. I liked it a lot, but realize it is not for everyone.

I resent that I have to cook and eat three times a day every day for the rest of my life, so I essentially eat the same thing everyday. Pasta (mostly fresh pasta cause it makes me feel like I have my life more together and only takes 4 mins instead of 11 - highly rec this), pasta sauce from a jar, tenderstem broccoli. If I’m feeling up to it I’ll fry the tendies in a pan with smoked salt and then add the sauce, but mostly I’ll just throw them in the same pan as the pasta to boil and put the sauce on cold cause I’m a heathen. I’ll throw on mozzarella if Ive got some in.

I feel like this place isn't about people but about recommendations, right? forget the influencer, forget the individual, just browse and talk about cool shit and whoever says something good, that's good. that's what I liked about reddit, back when I actually liked reddit. I haven't found many people I want to follow, and I'm not really looking.

I've been enjoying new clothes, and experimenting them with fun ways, so much lately that I need to keep reminding myself of this. Not every excursion outside needs to be fresh and new and experimental. If I am going out and I need a warm sweater and I need my sneakers and I already have a fit in mind with those pieces, I can just wear it, I don't need to reinvent the wheel every time.
