I used to work there in undergrad, so, subtle plug, but genuinely some of the most eclectic stuff I've had the privilege to oversee and work at, it's very much DIY in terms of the space and the programming we have, God, I miss it!!!
my alma mater’s radio station, totally freeform, all community programming! you can listen to it online at wmcn.fm, programming gets switched up pretty regularly too!
WXTJ.fm 100.1fm (charlottesville)
obviously gotta plug my old college radio station (uva)
being a dj on there, surrounded by the most cool college kids ever, genuinely blossomed my music taste
WCNI New London, Connecticut College - community & student DJs (I had a show there while I was in college!). Usually something weird/good happening. They used to always have a polka show on Sundays I think.
WRPI Troy - Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the capital region, NY. Whenever I drive through I pick up this station and it never disappoints. They have some weeeiiirdd shit.
WFMU out of NJ. Fantastic programming, great music, eccentric hosts.
so much to talk about, the sunglasses, the scarf, the fresh baguette and coffee, the always lovely cafe setting. I think this is the most swag ever captured on camera I aspire to be at this level
alright hear me out: carbonation and coffee with a squeeze of orange shouldn’t work, but it does. Been making them daily and i feel a lot better in the morning each time i do
