This is a card game but technically also a board game. I grew up playing with my family so it is possible I think it’s tons of fun just due to all the great memories attached (but that is the case for almost all games). It’s fun to learn and get good at

love card games? love board games? what about a game that’s both - cribbage. go to your local game store, buy a board, grab your bestie or lover or enemy and learn as you go. in no time you’ll be addicted. you’ll see 15s in the world and think 7+8 or 9+6 or 10+5. then you’ll download the cribbage pro app (only good one) and replace your scroll time with crib time. you’re welcome :)

nothing quite like this card game, popular in the Midwest. Once you learn it, you feel like you’re a part of a secret club, but it’s also really fun.

sit down and play some euchre. some cribbage. if you're brave you can learn how to play bridge or whatever. canasta. poker. card games are eternal and fun and you can play with your cards in one hand and a cigar/joint/sandwich/etc in the other.

Let the choir sing in rejoice, Joni Mitchell is back on Spotify folks. And while some music heads might be tripping over themselves to stream the legendaric Blue 1971 album, you can catch me at the sonic jazz bar that is Both Sides Now. You might be familiar with this re-recorded track and album from the iconic Emma Thompson scene in 2001’s Christmas cult classic Love Actually but this album is so much more. If you’re a jazz enjoyer, or maybe not so into Americana folk, and wanna know what all the Joni-craze is about: this is the album for you. I recommend listening no earlier than dusk and maybe after a little bit of a hard day.
