i don’t usually take pictures of my family as i get really shy, but one day, i was on my way out of the house and it was the perfect, spontaneous moment and he was facing away so i didn’t have that anxiety!!! glad i took the shot… i love the framing of the shot esp with the hallway’s entrance serving as a frame and the natural light coming from the window, also this is my childhood home, so it’s extra special :)

nothing extraordinary or especially artistic; literally just hanging out with them and thinking “wow i love this moment, i’m gonna take a picture!”
i don’t think there’s any way you can regret taking a picture of the people you love in a moment you love.

Been shooting film and digital since I was 16 and looking back the most interesting and important photos I’ve taken are of friends and family. You are not going to wish you had more pictures of buildings and landscapes later in life lol.
