Painterly ambivalence~~~ Giuliana (Monica Vitti) struggles to hide her increasingly fragile mental state from her abscent husband in a post-industrial landscape. Corrado, a visiting business man, promises reprieve through an affair. Lots o' fog, gorgeous framing of empty space, a heightened colour palette and a minimalist electronic sound score. dashi: my tiny prince

He’s 16 lbs and truly believes he’s the size of a Malamute, has a beautifully bitchy husky way of talking back for no reason, loves to snug, and - can you believe - he’s almost 9 years old! Also, when he’s feeling awkward, high-fives build his confidence and it’s incredibly cute. Tiny hype man.
