the round little pinholes in the shadow turn into crescents at eclipse time ! this is great if you’re a horrible procrastinator like me and your local hy-vee is out of eclipse glasses <3
even when you think it’s not worth it, because you saw one a few years ago anyway… you still should watch the eclipse because space is always cool but more importantly how neat is it to share in the collective awe of something beautiful
walk around your neighborhood until your cheeks and nose are all cold and red!! you’re alive! the cup of tea you make when you get back inside will be the coziest cup of tea ever!!!
