rooted through my Mom's jewelry box and saw her absolutely stacked charm bracelet filled with charms all from her life... her graduation, an NYC one when she and my dad went s, our trip to rohobeth beach, a hershey kiss, family trip to niagara falls... so many memories! a reminder to buy charms again...

i have many more but my bags can only handle so much (currently using 20something charms, they usually weight more than the contents inside the bag lol)
i love collecting charms— the obsession began with anna faris’ character from “the hot chick”! she has a bunch of charms and i, verbatim, said “my dream when i grow up is to have a keychain like that one”
a bunch of years later go by and here i am buying more and more :P

I’m almost always wearing jewelry that’s meaningful, whether it was a gift from someone or something i bought that reminds me of someone. I also think you can add meaning to things by making them important, like my favorite ring, which I bought just because I love it but now feels like a part of my self because I wear it so much.
In my car, I have a few charms on my mirror:
-evil eye from Turkey, where my mom lived for a few years when she was a kid
-silver kokopelli charm that has my grandmothers initials and says “her car” on it 🥹
-silver colored sea creature bouquet on a keychain that my little brother gave me when he was small
-beaded rainbow octopus from a trip to California to visit family
Also a big fan of collecting good rocks on trips and sometimes I’ll carry one of them in my pocket.

Shared eclipse glasses with all of the ppl at my Gramma's retirement home. was joined by so many lovely people. everyone was wowed by the sun n moon!! and it reminded me that sharing is caring esp sharing an experience with other humans <3
