"𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕓𝕒𝕝𝕝 π•šπ•€ π•£π• π•π•π•šπ•Ÿπ•˜ 𝕦𝕑!" the wild adventures of The Wurst space crew in a universe created by Elaine Lee, using the Star Wars 5E tabletop system it's hilarious. it's a space western. it's got heists. what's not to love i go back and forth with whether i think this or unsleeping city season 1 is dimension 20's best season. while i can love the dramatics of a crown of candy or neverafter, the slice of life-ness of fantasy high or the unsleeping city, and the sidequests have been nothing to snuff at (escape from the bloodkeep, a court of fey and flowers, burrow's end and mentopolis being my personal faves), this is truly dimension 20's sweet spot. obviously, they're comedians, they're gonna do comedy well, but i think it's the fact that it's outwardly comedic actually makes the poignant moments stick out all the more not to mention, while i think many overuse the term "chaotic," to the point of it being all but meaningless, this is a series that truly befits that name. this shit gets bonkers. absolutely coo-coo for coco puffs. but also, this show fucking nails its tone. perfect marriage of low stakes and high stakes also, obviously, such a fun world to play around in, with such a fun cast of both PCs and NPCs, i can only hope they come back for another season just because i'm desperate to explore this world again. dropout.tv 5evr

if you’re at all interested in tabletop roleplaying games and the way people tell stories with them i highly recommend friends at the table. FatT is an actual play podcast (meaning, a podcast where they Actually Play a ttrpg) focused on critical world building, smart characterization, and fun interaction between good friends. my homie sylvi is one of the cast members on it so im kinda biased but i really think its the best actual play podcast out there. its funny because the people who host it are funny people, but its also made up of some really smart and charming people who are sincerely interested in the world and characters theyβ€˜re building, and it’s their interest in doing what they do and doing it well that carries me through it. if you are into any of this, i recommend starting with their series called PARTIZAN; a series about mecha pilots on a small moon in the middle of a incomprehensibly big war that seems to have no end in sight, and the revolutionary movement that begins to form there. it’s very cool! thanks for reading my sincere post

It’s a silly little DND podcast that one of my friends makes and it’s finally updating again! They did a two-shot between chapters (eps 24 and 25) that I recommend to new listeners because you get a low-commitment self contained story. It’s so good! I always wait to listen to new episodes as my day-off treat.

Critical Role is really cool but can be hard to break into. I really enjoyed watching this and I'm so excited for more seasons. Really cool lore and seeing characters progress through the overall story and their own individual arcs. Season 1 hit every single button for me tbh (very castlevania-esque).

or junk journaling, if you'd like to not perpetuate myths about crows liking to collect trinkets. i just think it sounds cuter weirdly, as someone who's a writer, i've never really been good at or liked journaling. every planner i've ever owned has remained empty. if i try to write something any time other than when the fancy strikes me, it just feels inauthentic, like i'm trying too hard. this has been the first time journaling actually felt like it had a purpose for me, and actually felt weirdly therapeutic basically, it's just anything i can recycle, i make into a page. i like a common theme, so places i've visited, media i like, similar aesthetics, emotions i'm feeling. and then we get the qr code page & i'm reminded that this is probably the quintessential depiction of what scoring 121 on the RAADS-R looks like eh, i'm having funπŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

in agreement with mouse nitw soup rema see also agree with them that definitely limbo or inside will scratch the little nightmares itch, arguably playdead's games are a big inspiration for little nightmares. depending on what you're into (more story or more gameplay heavy) for story. i cannot recommend "what remains of edith finch" enough. just a true gem and some of the best of interactive storytelling for gameplay i love the witness, hi fi rush, and neon white. all very different, but maybe you'll find something you'll like for a mix if both, disco elysium. dialogue HEAVY, but based in like ttrpg systems, it's really fun. REALLY long though, like maybe put aside some time to crack that one open lol
