I curate the vibes from beginning to end. I am told that is a weird request to make of people when I make them a playlist. I think I am just taking someone on a journey- plus transitioning from one song to another flawlessly always itches my brain in a satisfying way.

i like taking the time to order playlists to convey a specific feeling or story. sometimes i challenge myself connect songs that dont have any business being on the same playlist its time consuming but very rewarding

My one rule is that they have to play it in the exact order I put the songs in; I crafted it that way on purpose, my friend.

My friend and I watch SATC and High Fidelity (2020) whenever we want to feel better about our romantic (and just general life choices). If you like the world of Gilmore Girls, Freaks and Geeks is so comfortable to sit in. The characters feel like how real high schoolers (I dated a guy in high school a lot like Nick from this show and we all have, I think). The costuming and soundtrack is great, the midwestern vibes are comforting, and the acting is surprisingly raw and realistic for being a comedy series. Martin Starr has genius comedic timing. Dollface is kind of a hidden gem! Kat Dennings is a gemini queen and she creates a really lush and intricate imaginary world in this show. Community is perfect for pop culture nerds- the first season is like a lot of sitcom shows in that it takes a bit for them to hit their stride and find their audience. It does not use the mockumentary style like Parks & Rec and The Office, which gives the show more permission to be weird and far-away from reality.

I am also an introvert with ADHD! I find the simple hobbies that hold my interest are the ones that have an element of problem-solving because there is a definite start and end, along with plenty of yummy dopamine when you solve it! Solitaire is fun if you are really looking for something simple. Also, I carry a small book of crosswords with me at all times too, those hold my attention longer than physical books. Audiobooks/podcasts about my current fixation + outside activity (like roller skating, walking, cycling, jogging, etc ...) = the only way I get myself outdoors these days. I use Libby instead of Audible because nothing is more punk rock than the public library. Speaking of the library, I think they are an untapped resource for people! I am a photographer and I don't have the money to buy my own equipment at the moment, so I check out equipment from my library. You can check out instruments, games, video game consoles, I have even seen Tarot cards (which I might advise against that one, Tarot is too much of a personal process that is energetically sensitive to the individual, so getting public/second-hand cards can be tough)! The best hobbies for me are the ones I can pick up without feeling too guilty about leaving behind just as quick, the attention is gonna go wherever she wants, I have no say. I try and wait to spend any large sum of money on a hobby I am not married to yet (like buying a bunch of yarn, a sewing machine, climbing gear, etc).
