lovely feminist baker who has the sweetest dog and just became a mom :) i‘m increasingly against following people i don’t know on instagram but i love her posts, she speaks really earnestly and compassionately about abortion, and her recipes are delightful even just to look at pictures of. i think she’s been baking less since she had a kid but she still shares recipes frequently (cakes, cookies, quick breads and more!)

I rec starting small. I love the Penguin Modern series, they’re tiny short books that fit in your pocket for you to take anywhere! Super quick read and VERY interesting publications (Susan Sontag, Kathy Acker, Andy Warhol, Carson McCullers, Franz Kafka etc..) + they’re super cheap 💸
