I know, I know, sandwiches might seem basic bring it up a notch by buying (or making in my case) 1- good ass bread like a good artisanal sourdough or foccacia, 2- Make a salad, don't just put lettuce, mix different greens together 3- Add pesto, buy it or make it, it's up to you 4- Good ass cheese, I'm talking a gooddd fresh mozzarella ball cut into slices 5- Protein of your choice. My go to is chicken cutlet but simple mortadella or prosciutto will get the job done 6- Whatever else you want, that's the fun of making sandwiches, no rule just vibes.

toasted bread or bagel but baguette is the best choice, bacon or some lunch meat pan fried in butter with a dab of honey until crispy OR just pulled pork, and then lettuce, pickle, tomato, avocado, fresh green beans very nice and crunchy, dorito chip, pesto and hummus or spicy mustard. don't forget sharp cheddar cheese, melted, and throw a fried egg in there if u wanna be a crazy bitch

Toasted italian bread, but don’t toast until you finish preparing everything. Chop up some spring mix and toss in some italian vinaigrette. Aldi’s makes an amazing one. Get a couple thin slices of tomato and salt them. Also grab some peperoncinis and slice them thin if you don’t buy them pre sliced. Get thick cut deli turkey/ham, pepperoni, salami, and whatever meat you wanna throw in here. Heat it up before putting it on the sandwich if you wanna go the extra mile. Slice some fresh mozzarella and make sure that’s the first thing you put on that toasted italian bread after a bit of dressing to make it a little less dry. Throw all that other shit on, and you have an absolutely diabolical sandwich. Don’t forget to season with salt and pepper. Maybe italian seasoning if you’re feeling fancy.

One thing I love to do when travelling or staying at a place for a longer period of time is to create a playlist specifically for that country/city. Last summer, I spent the whole of it (or almost) in NYC and I created this playlist at the beginning of the summer that I listened to all summer long and now every time I go back to listening to it, I get transported to my endless summer nights in the city. But beware, this only works for a number of times before the novelty wears off, so do it once every few months or so and you’ll be able to travel without any plane ticket! CHEERS.

I was strolling around the city 5 days ago when I fell upon this wonderfully scented perfume. It had notes of olive tree🫒and rose and a woody underlying theme. It is floral but not the typical kind of floral but rather a more mature floral scent resembling Rose 31 from le Labo. The best part is that is was not that expensive only 55CAD for the mini version(okay pretty expensive.)
