tried it straight from the udder one time on a school trip and other than it just being warm, which was gross, it tasted the same as regular milk. maybe it's because i ate dirt and sand as a kid but i didn't get sick from it, but you probably shouldn't drink untreated milk just in case you get e. coli or something

we always had raw milk at home when i was a kid, as it was bought from neighbors with a cow. it didn't seem out of the ordinary and no one felt bad, but i never liked it because of the weird smell

I can't tolerate pasteurized diary at all really, so raw milk has been great for me. I also think it tastes better, but you just have to make sure it's coming from a trustworthy farm.
