usually my days in the office are powered by a frozen TJ's delicacy, but it's a real treat to take yourself out for a sit down meal in the middle of the day. bonus points if you go to an establishment that you would normally reserve for a special occasion--lunchtime crowds on a weekday aren't as formidable. today i had soup and a sandwich, read Letters to Milena, and worked on my knitting for an hour at the counter of an upscale diner.
