This movie, directed by Tetsuya Nakashima is a Japanese film portraying an unconventional friendship. Coincidentally, my friend Aya Gloomy showed me this movie years ago and it still ranks my top 5 favorite films of all time. The fashion and the way it was shot and edited is pretty timeless. The overall message is positive so I would definitely recommend.

I love this movie so much. Satoshi Kon was a real genius. A great movie about chosen family and resilience. My wife and I watch it once a year around the holidays. I cry every time.

I love the feeling of being sun kissed with a tan. This tanning oil really amplifies a golden tone to my skin and it’s just super classic, I feel like it was popular in the 80s or something. I love putting stickers on before I go lay out to give my self sun tattoos. It’s the perfect back country-playing in the river-being feral kind of tanning oil everyone’s missing in the warmer months.

Lala’s is one of my all time favorite dive bars in the South. It’s a year-round Christmas themed bar in Austin that makes the best Margaritas. It’s one of my places to hang out when I’m back home and shoot some pool.

I love historical places and seeing so many incredible places shut down and beautiful buildings over the last few years has been, honestly pretty devastating. I’ve heard rumors recently that The Queen Mary might be going away so I feel like it’s important to add this to my recommendations before they drop it into the middle of the ocean.Walking onto the ship you are just completely enamored by the gorgeous interiors, the history and the haunted essence it looms. Theres been so many concerts in the parking lot since forever and the ship itself is such all around a trip. I highly recommend stopping by for a cocktail at the Observation Bar and don’t miss scoping out the pool on your way out.
