I used to live in a school bus

I was kind of a van-lifer from 2018-2020. but it was more than a van, it was a short bus with a bed and a toilet and shower and a stovetop (in that order). It was never my dream, it was my ex’s project and I wasn’t cut out for it but it was fun while it lasted.

to bus and subway drivers as they pass you. it can be casual and cute or very serious depending on your mood. i obsessively did it as a kid and am now bring it back

riding the bus

my experience is coloured by the STM being pretty chill but there are truly few things nicer than getting on a random bus route with your headphones and a good album and getting driven on a little adventure around the city. real potential for "my life a movie for real" moments
