i despise exercising so much. i am not joking. i have never understood why people enjoy spending extra energy to move their body around and sweat.
however…
a few weeks ago i tried bouldering for the first time. coming into it, i was pessimistic because of my inherent attitude towards exercise. but once i tried it OMG!
i was so surprised about how much i enjoyed it.
bouldering truly solves all the issues i have with exercise:
1. it does not feel like an exercise (you feel like you’re playing in an adult playground)
2. you don’t sweat that intensely
3. the crowd isn’t intimidating(at least at my place it’s mostly nerdy tech hipsters, lesbians, and children)
4. somehow you don’t feel perceived by the people around you
