Seeing a lot of them lately. I just go around them usually and sometimes that means I have to drive on the sidewalk. When one road shuts, a new one opens I guess π€
Surface streets make me feel connected & engaged. It is worth the extra 10 minutes if it means I can hear what the person in the car next to me is listening to at a red light and watch people cross the street/see what everyone is up to. I learn so much
My city council is planning on demolishing most of ours
A crying shame because I love the drama and also not having to cross busy roads at street level
