I usually can’t bear documentaries where people just sit and tell stories on camera, so this one was such a gem for me. it’s entirely made up of footage from Bowie’s speeches and performances, much of which had never been seen before. the editing is boldly creative, and the overall experience feels like a trip

This is a very light, sweet, and easy documentary for anyone to enjoy. The whole doc is a series of interviews with different Irish centenarians. They are hilarious and heart wrenching. It’s a gentle reminder of the simple beauty and sweetness of the human race.

This is maybe my favorite documentary
It’s set in a small classroom in rural France with one teacher and a dozen or so kids of different ages.
I love this doc because it has no agenda - we simply observe the relationship between these kids and the teacher who is heading towards retirement.
It’s beautiful, it’s tender, it’s honest. It reminds me that kids will just cough with their mouths wide open
