This is maybe my favorite documentary It’s set in a small classroom in rural France with one teacher and a dozen or so kids of different ages. I love this doc because it has no agenda - we simply observe the relationship between these kids and the teacher who is heading towards retirement. It’s beautiful, it’s tender, it’s honest. It reminds me that kids will just cough with their mouths wide open I love it It tends to live on Kanopy jsyk xoxo ttyl

I'm not really a documentary person but this one is like a visual collage. It's made up from actual historic footage and reshoots with an incredible score. It's the history of teenagers in the US, England, and Germany but it's also about the way young people are shaped by war and industrialization. It's so compelling it goes by super fast, can't recommend enough.

An aging raver goes to an inner-city East London High School to tell the kids that things used to different and maybe a little cooler. The kids aren't exactly sure if they should belive him. One of my new favorite music documentaries. For fans for Adam Curtis, UK Jungle, and ethnography.

My dad loved horror movies - not many actually Scared him. After seeing this in theaters he told me he had to turn on all the lights when he got home. I just saw it for the first time and while I loved it I wouldn’t say this is a Scary Movie. It’s more so a story about ghosts that almost feels like a gothic fairytale. Nicole Kidman is insanely good in it. The way she can lose her grip on reality while still maintaining her humanity is heartbreaking. SO, highly recommend watching especially on a foggy/stormy night. And make sure to lock that door behind you thx love u so much xoxo4evr
