I'm normal so I don't know what gorpy or arc or nf means but I got this in the classic yellow raincoat color (that doesn't seem to be available anymore?). Lightweight, breathable, good hood, zippers, pockets, wrists can cinch, very easily folded and packed up, has vents in the armpits if you live somewhere humid like I do. Keeps you dry. No notes. Perfect utilitarian raincoat and looks how you want it to look.

TNF is a BFD in the outdoors space, but its real special sauce comes from translation. Alex actually rec'd this jacket to me sometime back in 2018. For many reasons, it’s my most worn winter jacket over the past few years. Functionally, the jacket is really light, lined pockets keep your hands warm, and the water repellent material is what makes it really easy to slide on and off (which is probably why I always throw it on). Design wise, the jacket's lack of visible stitching is my favorite feature which is what makes it super sleek. Uniqlo shift the colors every season, but I found that the mens and womens are more or less the same jacket, except the women’s is slightly puffier. Sizing wise, they’re pretty much similar in my experience — so more color options!
