I watched it when I was 14 and it was the coolest thing ever to me. Its about two young women who have the same name. One is in a punk band and wears a lot of Vivienne westwood, the other is naive and girly. they are best friends and also definitely in love with each other but men and life and stuff get in the way. this and Paradise Kiss are made by the same people and it was a revelation to find that Anime could be girly and cool and not just for teenage boys or kids which is what I had assumed as a teenage girl.

The music and style is really cool too. As soon as I saw Nana O wearing Vivienne Westwood (RIP) jewelry, I was hooked.

coming of age existential crisis type shit. every flavor of disaster queer. absolutely beautiful art.
this show has meant everything to me since i was a younger and it only feels more resonant with me as i've grown older. whole thing's up on youtube, could not rec enough

crec que d'adulta no he mirat cap anime excepte 'nana', que bà sicament va de que dues ties que es diuen igual però que són completament oposades es fan amigues
lo important però és:
- el vestuari estĂ dissenyat per vivienne westwood herself (ICONIC!!)
- Ă©s l'anime preferit de la gent amb millor criteri (caroline polacheck, yung beef, mitski...)
- estĂ en catalĂ sencera a youtube!!!!!!!
no et decepcionis però quan descobreixis que l'autora mai la va acabar i que per tant no té un final tancat.........
