Somehow clicking into the exact mindset to quickly complete a lagging task

I had been procrastinating on a straightforward but boring work task for weeks. Somehow the recipe to actually doing the thing quickly was a couple hits and Sugar Ray at 10:30am on a Saturday morning. I’ll take it, universe!

doing that thing you've been putting off for a while

rip the band-aid, my loves. it's time. force yourself to do it, and i promise you, you'll feel so relieved once it's over. taxes, cleaning, laundry, homework, an important submission, renewing your ID or passport, scheduling that appointment, doing a return, etc. future you will be SO grateful <3

THe lobster

Although not horror in it's traditional sense, the dystopic and serious nature of the rules set in this black comedy movie are beyond horrific. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since I saw it a couple of weeks ago. It's an insane watch.
