A freshly baked slice of cherry pie is so good it’s like touching God. Everyone already likes all the berry pies cause they’re good. Pumpkin, Sweet potato, and Pecan are holiday staples. I just wanna shout out some of the harder to find varieties that are also incredible. Shout out to: - key lime - coconut creme - banoffee - Lemon meringue It’s really hard to find a truly good slice of pie, esp if it’s one of the more uncommon varieties. Feels like you kinda just have to do it yourself or know someone, either of which can be good in their own way, but it would be nice to just be able to stop at a diner or cafe late at night and get an amazing slice of pie and some coffee. Also feels like America should have more savory pies than chicken pot pie but that’s for another day. Anyways, if you have a good slice of pie, cherish it.

Not a cake but this was super easy to make and tasted just as good - just get two ready to bake Pillsbury crusts, cut up your apples, assemble in a pan and then pour the butterxflourxsugarxwater mixture over the WHOLE thing instead of just soaking the apples in it. Heaven to taste - the sweet sauce soaks through the crust deliciously
