Been curating a drum reference playlist for my session drummer for my musical project’s next record! This band is so underrated and I have no idea why. psychadelic shoegazey greatness. I think one of their band members passed away recently too and his legacy is definitely appreciated 🌀

When it's cold and dark outside, I feel like I want to revisit what I already know. I listen to a lot of bands I love and kinda fall in love all over again. Thanks to Spotify's Discover Weekly I'm exposed to a lot of things that blow my mind regularly, so I don't get in a rut. Mordicai Jones is one of these bands* that came out of nowhere, and blew my mind. How isn't this a famous song?
*it's not a real band, in fact, but a project from Link Wray, eternally underrated guitar legend, always ahead of his time

Absolutely loved everything about this deadpan comedy/music series. Definitely is going to be a new comfort tv show for me from here on out. The topics they cover in the show to the setting in New York City is absolutely perfect and still super relevant to this day

I love this band‘s discography so far. Can’t wait for the new record to come out!
It’s experimental a lot of the time but it works. Crazy to think this band started in my hometown and then moved to Philly!
