I went to my local Fleet Feet and got my feet analyzed last summer! They recommended these shoes to me for walking as well as going a full size up because your feet swell as you move/as the day goes on. The foot scan also told me that I apply more pressure on the front of my foot when I walk and I totally notice it now, so getting a larger size is a must for me! I've worn my Hokas for 139 days (I use a wardrobe tracking app) and they are still good but I'm noticing their wear, so I recently got the Asics. The Asics are super cushy, which is weird to get used to at first but really comfortable! I recommend both types, but also to get your feet scanned if that's available by you :)

Agree with you on Cliftons, Iโ€™ve always felt like the arch on those was too high for me. Asics seem to be the darlings of the last couple years with less hype around the Saucony Endorphin line. Depends what kinda feel you want but all these are cushioned well just will have a different response. Novablast a bit leaner, responsive faster feel Nimbus well cushioned slower feeling Superblast bouncy and well cushioned. Its technically over stack height for races I think, but I credit that shoe for keeping me in the game over some heavy training periods. Iโ€™d lean Novablast for shorter efforts. NB 1080 and Rebel 4 are getting some good reviews. There are so many good shoes out there right now from tons of brands. My personal rotation at the moment Atreyu Daily Trainer 1 and have the 1.2 to be delivered today. NB Rebel 2. Favorite shoe ever, itโ€™s old but I stocked up on pairs and now theyโ€™re getting up there in miles. Thinking Topo Cyclone 2 next? Asics Superblast Norda 001 for the trails.

I've been at my desk job for almost a year and finally got an ergonomic assessment done. The nurse immediately said my chair was too big for my frame, and when I mentioned I have occasional lower back tension she said it was probably due to my chair! So get your ergo assessments done, kids!
