I successfully deleted the app and went two weeks without it at all, but then I re-downloaded it to post for my social media plan for music and then got sucked back in again! I will stay up a minimum of an hour later when Iā€™ve been stuck in a tiktok hole.

Deleted tiktok and finished three books in a week. I shouldā€™ve deleted the app sooner. Itā€™s actually so insane how ingrained tiktok scrolling has been in my daily routine. without the app I was just scrolling through the most random apps ever, then realized like damn this is a problem šŸ˜ I miss it bad but I also donā€™t need it. Twitter is next šŸ™ I need to fill my time with productive and fulfilling activities, no more mindless scrolling ā€¼ļø

If you have ever even questioned if you should delete it, you should. I have been tik tok less since Iā€™m not sure when, guessing at most like 9 months? And I feel like Iā€™m receiving a normal amount of information everyday rather than information overload first thing in the morning. Our brilliant, yet fragile little brains were never made to look at a screen for so long. Go outside. However, it took me about 2 years to even consistently not have tik tok. I would delete it for about two days and download it right back, but I think if youā€™re stubborn enough- you can do it too :)

I just want my attention span back šŸ«  and to feel less stimulated. itā€™s only been a day but now I wanna sketch or somethin instead of doom scrolling through videos that donā€™t enrich my life.
