yesterday i deleted my message thread with my ex. i had it archived and no reason to look at it anymore yet still found myself doing so. i think ive always wanted to keep everything of anything ever. forever. but its a step to let go completely. im learning that letting go is as important as holding on. so delete that old conversation that just sits there giving you the option to remember. you can remember other ways:) the memories wont ever be gone

i mean sure, read the really old ones, and i'm not advocating throwing them out or anything, but imho i have no business remembering how i felt just last year. that girl was an idiot but was also very close to who this idiot still is. it's a danger zone.

ive been obsessing over nts lately. i used to listen mostly just to clairo’s monthly shows (they’re a whole recommendation of their own lol) and maybe a couple other sets here and there but the past month and especially this past week, its what i’ve listened to the most. it’s made me fall in love with music and audio all over again. great way to discover new music and genres and go deeper into whatever your taste are. so refreshing and theres a discord too which is very sweet. support if u can, 50% of the proceeds go to the artists:)
