lately i’ve been really into long distance walking which i define as a walk longer than an hour.
i feel like there’s something simple about walking as a mode of transit and i enjoy it so much.
also if you’re into pondering walking is a great time to do that.

one thing i really like when i learn more about new people is to know whether or not they go on really long walks. i feel like it makes me immediately like someone more if they do this too because i love long walks. like fully as long as i can walk until my body hurts long walks because it helps me think and you see so many good things on walks

like a good night of sleep, a long walk alone can do wonders for your mood.
when i get home from work i always like to tell myself it’ll be a quick loop around the park, but it inevitably turns into an hour, at minimum, of daydreaming to the music in my headphones and letting my feet carry me.
looking forward to the spring so these long and bundled walks can become long and blissful jogs

its really nice to just go walking while listening to some comfy playlist or a playlist curated just for these moments. I really like to listen comfy songs in a playlist made especially for walking in a park (that’s what I do). if you can go to a park too, I guarantee you will be happy. plus, that’s a type of exercise that doctors keep tellling us about… improves your health but it’s less torturing

purchasing a NAS will not only change the way you store files, but also your life. for those not aware, a network attached storage is a device that houses hard drives. it can be easily accessed if you're on the same network and in some cases even remotely.
personally i love my NAS. it's called the bananastand, fans of Arrested Development will be elated, and i use it to archive video projects, music libraries, and family photos.
i feel like for any creatives such as photographers, videographers, or really anyone with a plethora of files to manage, the solution is network attached storage.
it also doesn't have to be an expensive purchase! chances are you have unused tech sitting around and whether it's an old laptop or discarded drives, there's a tutorial out there that can help you set up your own NAS.

this coffee shop, located at 888 Madison Ave, is so cute and also tasty.
you can come for the coffee and delicious little pastries but above all i think Ralph’s excels at aesthetics. the design of the cafe is incredible stylized and although the indoor seating is limited they also have options outside.
i don’t think this place is necessarily a must-visit but if you find yourself nearby i’d personally recommend stopping by :)
