going to the cinema alone

i find it to be a very zen experience. sure, going with friends is fun too, but being able to completely immerse yourself in a film without thinking about the people you’re with is just life changing. for me anyway. this rule does not apply to horror movies. too much of a scaredy cat for that.

going to the movies on your own

i know this isn’t a new concept but i went to the movies on my own for the first time today (i saw “civil war”) and i genuinely enjoyed it :D you get to take your time getting ready and when to show up at the theater and you can get your own popcorn… a very fun movie experience (especially if the theater is mostly empty :D)

USING LETTERBOXD’s METADATA SEARCH FUNCTION TO FIND YOUR TOp 4 twin

letterboxd recently updated their search so you could find users with the same top 4 films as you i linked how to do it (it’s towards the bottom of their article) I unfortunately didn’t have any exact matches for all top 4 but multiple 3 out of 4s which was pretty cool Would be cool to know if anyone finds their twin (or triplets)
