I love movies and I love board games, so this is perfect for me. The object is to pull two cards and find the shortest way to connect the two actors based on their roles. I think it’s so much fun. Found it when I was at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in LA.

This is in the apples to apples/cards against humanity genre of games, and it's the best variation I've played. Each card is a unique piece of art. The active player, or storyteller, picks a card in their hand, plays it face down, then gives a clue. It could be a word, a phrase, a quote, a poem, a song, a dance, a pantomime—anything they feel is inspired by the card. Then other players play cards from their hands face down that could match the clue. The cards are shuffled and revealed and the players vote on what card they think was the storyteller's. It's easy to learn and very creative.

lately a fav party game of my friends - take turns drawing cards with a category + symbol and if your symbol matches someone else you have to name something in their category before they name something in yours! the categories are mostly broad (like superheroes or hairstyles) so it's not so much about knowing trivia as it is about being fast which is nice my fav party board games are usually word games but if people aren't into things like codenames/scrabble this one is adjacent but separate enough and easy as hell to learn

This is a card game but technically also a board game. I grew up playing with my family so it is possible I think it’s tons of fun just due to all the great memories attached (but that is the case for almost all games). It’s fun to learn and get good at

I am so excited for this movie to hit theaters. I’ve been a fan of Mikey Madison since Better Things and word is she will be getting her Oscar nomination for this role! It won the Palme d'Or at Cannes this year so you KNOW it’s good. It’s also directed by the same person who made Florida Project (a happy-sad cry movie that movie was shot so beautifully)
