The first installation of his I saw was The Weather Project at the Tate Modern's Turbine Hall in 2003 and to this day it is the most hauntingly, beautiful piece I've ever seen. His retrospective at MOCA is shaping up to be the exhibit of the year and his booth at Frieze is always the best one every year.

On view at MoMA PS1. I went for the first time a few weeks ago and this piece stunned me. The simplicity! Genius. Makes you consider the world around you differently by altering it in the most subtle way - a frame. Could have sat watching the sky change all day. Sounds low lift, but I don’t think the impact can be fully explained without seeing it. It’s worth a visit.

Getting your pants hemmed breaths a whole life into them. I had pairs wasting away in my closet and now they are back in action!

There are so many new restaurants, bars, places to hang, etc... that it can be overwhelming. Not only that, it's expensive to go out and rolling the dice on a shitty dinner just isn't worth it anymore. I have about 1/2 dozen spots I love and there more or less the only places I eat. Not only do I know I'll get a fantastic meal, but I know my money is going to buds & places that I want to stay open.

Making your own merch for your life has never been more easy. I used to go to Kinkos as a kid because they would put anything on a t-shirt. Now I make embroidered hats with inside jokes and print stills from "Dead Poets Society" on crewnecks. It's a lot of fun to find a piece of clothing you like and add onto it.
