Was Hedi Slimane’s residence in NYC and is a case study for Saint Laurent’s design language for their stores while he was at the helm from 2012-2016, a design language they still cling onto today even with Vaccarello running it. It might not be the most relevant to what I’m into now (gimme a mid century modern midwest home or a california craftsman please) but I’m fascinated with it as a large scale project + absolute commitment to have his stores be reflective of his living space.

Oh Jacquemus, I keep coming back. Whether it’s the flowy summer camp collars, the infamous headwear, or, in this case, the imagery. Nothing can top the vibe of coastal-Mediterranean living. Jacquemus “Images” is a photo book of 321 iPhone pictures, curated by Simon Porte Jacquemus, designer and founder of the brand. It’s filled with countless beautiful shots and is always a peaceful escape to flip through.

I've been enjoying new clothes, and experimenting them with fun ways, so much lately that I need to keep reminding myself of this. Not every excursion outside needs to be fresh and new and experimental. If I am going out and I need a warm sweater and I need my sneakers and I already have a fit in mind with those pieces, I can just wear it, I don't need to reinvent the wheel every time.
