My partner and I have been in a 2 year relationship and recently I’ve noticed we have been getting a little too comfortable. When we hangout together it ends up with both of us on our phones locked in maybe for a couple hours. As nice as it just being in their presence it’s harder to have that playful banter. We do live in an age now where 5 hours a day on phones is normal. I would love for us to get out of that habit and it can start tomorrow. How do we escape this cycle of grabbing our phones when we feel a little ounce of boredom?
I think flirting can start as early in the morning. Maybe I comment on their morning breath and do a little giggle (but kiss them right away). They could give me a small sweet treat randomly. I would love a little note saying ”I love you” that was put in my pocket. Instead we are to busy on our phones and I am just as guilty as my partner is.

get as many hours on my screen time on Sunday morning. Everyone keeps talking about less screen time but when you try to talk to them about things you saw they’re so lost. Look at your phone more than you do! It will help your mental health in the very long run

1st an elaboration on ur screen time- what apps do u use the most? think of why.
2nd then find substitutions for them. for example ive replaced phone time with laptop time for when im at home
ive replaced phone when outside and bored or in transit with reading a book or observeing the world around me.
interrogate why you spend so my time on your phone; and what else you could be doing.
remeber we all go thru peaks and troughs.... stay strong queen.

We all know airports and flying are kind of an iteration of Hell at this point, so why not make travel fun? Comes with a bunk bed and feels quintessentially American, but the good parts (traveling through the country, power of industry, pre-made food). The coffee tastes like nothing, though.
