as stupid and expensive as they are they are an absolute necessity. getting orthotic inserts reopened a world of walking everywhere all the time again sans seemingly perpetual pain. i travelled this summer and legitimately i was most worried about getting my shoes stolen (whether logical or not) cause i´d be a mess without my inserts.
shitty thing is that they don’t fit into all shoes so a shoe choice in the morning takes a lot more thought now
you are never too young to start wearing orthotics. i tried my first pair of vionics this year - and all of a sudden my knees and hips felt aligned, and relieved? my posture immediately improved?? i am more relaxed???
i didn't even know i was so unbalanced (physically)!!! unbelievable!!! i am addicted to comfort 😤 😳
and honestly i feel its cruel to wear unsupportive footwear (unless you're on a date or photoshoot i guess). tell everybody you know.
