i grew up watching these with my dad (specifically the pierce brosnan ones) and they’re some of my favorites to this day! also seeing michelle yeoh for the first time in a movie was definitely an awakening for me :)
my mom's top movies are in this pic but her favorites are my left foot, scent of a woman, casablanca, and dead poet's society
my dad's fave media includes paddington, james bond and black adder, amongst others :)
My dad loves ferris bueller’s day off and oceans eleven. ive watched both upwards of a dozen times and can now quote them back and forth with him.
Meanwhile, my mom loves pride and prejudice (2006) and four weddings and a funeral.
I’m thankful for their interest in showing me movies when I was little and as Ive grown up.
i know this isn’t a new concept but i went to the movies on my own for the first time today (i saw “civil war”) and i genuinely enjoyed it :D you get to take your time getting ready and when to show up at the theater and you can get your own popcorn… a very fun movie experience (especially if the theater is mostly empty :D)
last week i bought a costco chocolate cake because i felt like it, and it was so good and it brought me so much joy. sometimes one needs to eat cake for breakfast. and that’s okay.
i’ve kept a journal since I was in elementary school and i love having a record of what was going on in my life at different points in my life, and also noticing how i handled situations and how my thought processes have changed over time. keep a journal! it’s a great way to record your life :)
