"I've crossed oceans of time to find you" If a love interest said that to me, I'd lose my mind. An incredible adaptation of the horror novel and they added a beautiful and tragic love story into the mix. Gary Oldman as Dracula is one of the best performances he's done, and he's one of the most versatile actors of our time in my opinion.

The delivery of literally every WORD of this is so unexpected and impactful! You can see him choose to avoid the usual beats and pacing and it’s fucking awesome!!!!

“He had a dark face, with stern features… his broad and jetty eyebrows; his square forehead, made squarer by the horizontal sweep of his black hair. I recognized his decisive nose, more remarkable for character than beauty; his full nostrils, denoting, I thought, choler; his grim mouth, chin, and jaw—yes, all three were very grim, and no mistake. A good figure in the athletic sense of the term—broad chested. I am sure most people would have thought him an ugly man; yet there was so much unconscious pride in his port; so much an ease in his demeanor; such a look of complete indifference to his own external appearance; so haughty a reliance on the power of his other qualities, intrinsic or adventitious, to atone for the lack of mere personal attractiveness, that in looking at him, one inevitably shared the indifference; and even in a blind, imperfect sense, put faith in the confidence.” —Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë, 1847 WHO ELSE COULD PLAY A SORTA SCARY BUT HOT AND SOCIALLY WEIRD BUT ALLURING MAN WHO IS NOT COVENTIONALLY HOT AND WOUKD KEEP A MADWOMAN IN HIS ATTIC, I BEG YOU?? none other quit casting jocks in jane eyre, a book for weird emo folks. thank u for your time

I live in Chicago! Depending on where you're staying, there's a bunch of cool things to do as Chicago is a city of neighborhoods. Wicker Park and Logan Square are popular neighborhoods to check out and they're on the cheaper end. California Clipper, Rainbo Club, and Common Decency are bars that are worth checking out. I know that Common Decency has a happy hour 4-6pm 7 days a week. If you're into movies, check out the Music Box Theatre! It's a 95 year old arthouse movie theatre in the Southport Corridor/Lakeview neighborhood that shows independent and second run films. Speaking of Lakeview, Clark Street is pretty popular if you're going to check out Wrigley Field! There are bars up and down the block so you won't need to walk far to find a place to drink at for cheap. If you need any more ideas or recommendations, let me know!
