salad making is truly an art . i love buying lettuce and fruit so what i do is: put fruit in already-genius salads for example: today i made a caesar salad for lunch. slam some pineapple in there and bam: hawaiian caesar salad (kind of)

Changed my flavour profile! My friend did this insanely delicious salad for lunch once-arugula, some other leafy green I can't remember now, green grapes, feta, quinoia, balsamic vinegar honey dressing (maybe?), a squeeze of lemon, and chopped nuts.

I used to really hate salads. there was never any balance to them, too much lettuce or too much dressing to be enjoyable. But now I don’t. I think salads are a really unique way of cooking bc u kind of just mix a bunch of things together, but if they go together and there’s balance, you can achieve a cohesive flavor that tastes really really good. Yesterday I made one with cucumber, chickpeas, olives, mixed greens, granola, olive oil, and balsamic, and it one of the best things I’ve ever made.

Adding finely chopped herbs to a basic fruit salad makes it a zillion times better. Basil, mint, rosemary, tarragon, thyme, sage i can think of so many good options. If you wanna be michelin add a squeeze of citrus + zest

i am a journalist for a local zine & i get to host my first interview today, interviewing a local music venue/kava bar so insanely thrilled. adrenaline thru the roof. getting to learn about someone else, having a conversation with impressive people solely about them, being a listener. everyone should interview, even if it’s not for something published
