I see people feeling overwhelmed due to decision fatigue. What I do sometimes when it comes to watching movies or shows, is add it to my watchlist, then wait 'till the platform announces that a certain project from said watchlist is leaving in order to watch it. I do this 'cause I find it brings me a diverse list of projects to watch, that if I had there in perpetuity, I would've never touched otherwise.
It's simple but helps me into actually clicking on things I've been meaning to watch. It's a good way to take advantage of your subscriptions too. That way, I feel like I give it enough use instead of spending an hour on the platform undecided and then logging off due to being unable to make a decision.
Here's some things that were leaving Netflix in my country to show you an example:
About Time (2013).
Brokeback Mountain (2005).
Christine (1983).
Step Brothers (2008).
The Social Network (2010).
The Terminal (2004).
Whiplash (2014).
World War Z (2013).
All these movies, except for the last one, I'd never seen and like I said, it's a pretty diverse array. Even if not all of them are masterpieces, pushes me to actually do something with the content I say want to watch.
