traditional genovese with fettucini + pan-grilled chili-lemon-garlic chicken <3 it's been a fall semester staple that i've been making every week while listening to my cooking/dining playlist and the leftovers are just as good. shave lots of parmesan over everything if you want the actual experience
(from Not Another Cooking Show on yt)
- sweat down chopped white onions
- roasted/charred and peeled red peppers (i sometimes also mix red and yellow peppers), then chopped and added to onions
- add double cream
- blend
- add grated pecorino
(best type of pasta to use with this is trofie)
so tasty & light, yet unique. dare i say, better than napoletana (tomato) sauce.
this show’s season 1 to 3 run is one of my favorite things to watch at any time. with impeccable comedic timing and an arsenal of multilayered jokes, AD is a prime example of extremely smart yet equally endearing writing with the right ensemble to pull it off
