Being ashy is not fun and it's also terrible for your skin. As someone who suffers from dry skin in the winter, I recommend lathering some shea butter on your face before stepping out of the house. This can be applied to your hands as well. A+D Ointment and Vaseline are also good facial products to keep your skin moisturized. Another option for your hands is Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula Lotion. This is an effective and quicker option compared to the shea butter. Sometimes the butter takes time to work into the skin. I personally make time to moisturize my hands with both. I find this lasts longer. As for lips, some good options include Chapstick brand Original Chapstick, Blistex, Aquaphor, or Fenty Skin Lux Balm.

treat your lips the same way you would treat the rest of the skin on your face! put a small amount of moisturizer on em after washing. i like to use something super gentle like an eye cream but whatever you have on hand will work. THEN, before you go out, apply the lip balm of your choice. the balm is meant to be a protective layer between your skin and the dry air. if you put lip balm on top of already dry lips it's pretty much useless bc the skin can't absorb it, which sometimes makes the problem worse. ok stay soft

this is the good stuff right here, aquaphor healing balm stick, it’s literally just a thick chapstick that’s for your hands. i was sick and tired of wanting to heal my skin and having to rub all this goop and cream into my hands (getting my fingertips all goopy in the process). this chapstick thing is a LIFESAVER it avoids weird fingertip texture with cream AND it’s incredibly easy to apply to a smaller area or your entire hand!! BUY THIS

I also have v dry, irritated skin and the way I have dealt with it is using a moisturiser that has a bit of hydrochloric acid in its formula, I use one from Garnier. it’s meant to be a night cream so it’s more heavy duty. I also use Vaseline in really dry spots and a rose water spray. Paula’s Choice have products that specialise in dry skin and it worked great for me. In terms of something more natural, the girlies say aloe vera oil is a great option, you can mix some into your moisturiser. But the one thing that did it for me was when I stopped using so many products. I don’t know what it was maybe I was mixing things wrong or overloading my skin but I only use an oil cleanser, a peptide serum and a moisturiser now. skin is doing a lot better. Good luck x

Once New York hits freezing temperatures, a quick trip to the car without proper gear can feel like you stepped into Antarctica. For this reason, it is essential to have a good coat, hat, scarf (optional), and gloves/mittens. With good gear you can also participate in the most fun festive activities: Snowball fights, snow angel making, and snowman contests!!!

I start kicking my feet at the thought of tasting such a delicious spoonful. Snow ice cream is such a quick and enjoyable sweet treat. Here's how to get started! First you'll need to gather snow, condensed milk, and vanilla extract. Here are the steps: 1. place a bowl outside on a high surface (on top of a vehicle is perfect) BE SURE TO CHECK ON BOWL PERIODICALLY TO MAKE SURE IT DOESN'T BLOW AWAY 2. Let the snow fall until the bowl is full (it's important that you don't scoop snow off of the ground that's kind of dirty) 3. Quickly (the snow melts very fast) bring the bowl inside and pour a can of condensed milk into the snow 4. Mix 5. Add in 4-5 decent drops of vanilla extract 6. Mix 7. Enjoy!
