i have never felt such simultaneous dread and awe. i will forever be in love with everything about this movie; a pace thats frenzying and cathartic, cinematography+directing inspired by italian neorealism, and performances that defy explanation.
fundamental theater experience for my taste maturation and sparked my love for independent cinema exhibition.
my favorite flick of all time .. two hours of perfect cinematography, perfect acting. i watched this for the first time with my jaw draped and my heart hurt and stung in ways i’ve never felt
the best lit nightmare. gorgeously shot, perfect score, best opening sequence i’ve seen in ages! really, really fun, and also really, really unsettling and hard to watch at times. memorable and insane.
i started tracking how much i sleep in a week and my life genuinely gets so much better when i sleep at least 7 hours every day. it completely changes my demeanor and mood to the point where i am noticeably happier. also i’m WAY less anxious and that’s always a plus.
i am not currently in one of those weeks, but a guy can dream🤷♂️
